Awakening to Presence
The illuminating exploration of awareness beyond thought and the recognition of presence... the space between.
What you've been searching for...
has always been here...
NOW:
In a world filled with constant noise and distraction, finding clarity seems more difficult than ever. But what if true peace isn't something to achieve?
What if it's already here, in the space between your thoughts?
This book reveals the simple truth that has always been waiting to be noticed. It's not just life-changing—it shifts the very way you live and see each moment.
THEN:
For years, we've been told that happiness, peace, and fulfillment are destinations to reach through effort and practice. We've collected techniques, followed paths, and sought teachers - all while overlooking the awareness that has always been present.
AWAKENING TO PRESENCE gently points to what remains when the seeking stops, offering clear, accessible language that speaks directly to what you already know at the core of your being.

Are You Ready to Step Into the Space Between?
Finding Peace and Stillness in the Space Between
Book Excerpt
The silent awareness within you is the unchanging space where everything appears and disappears. It is the part of you that notices your thoughts but is not your thoughts. It sees emotions rise and fall but is not those emotions. When you recognize this, you begin to experience life differently.
Instead of being swept away by every passing wave of thought or feeling, you can rest in the knowing that something deeper within you remains untouched.
Many people believe Presence must be achieved, as if it were a task on a to-do list.
But this awareness is not something to "get." It is what you already are. The only reason it feels distant is because attention has been pulled into the constant flow of thinking. The moment you pause and observe, even for a second, you realize it was here all along.
Noticing the Space Between Thoughts
Just as there is space between the notes of a song, there is space between thoughts. Most people do not notice this because they are so used to focusing on the thoughts themselves.
But if you pay attention, you will find tiny gaps—moments of stillness before the next thought arises. These spaces are doorways to silent awareness.
A simple way to notice this is through pausing before reacting. For example, when something upsets you, rather than immediately responding, take a breath and observe.
In that pause, awareness becomes clear. The reaction may still come, but now you are watching it rather than being controlled by it.
Another way to notice the space is through sensory awareness. Right now, as you read this, feel your breath moving in and out. Listen to the faintest sounds in the background. Feel the weight of your body where you are sitting. These small moments of attention bring you directly into presence.
The more you notice these spaces, the more obvious they become. Over time, you realize the gaps were always there—you simply weren’t looking.

Chapter 7: The Silent Awareness

Yet within it lies something profound—the presence that has always been here, quietly aware. This presence does not come and go. It is not something to chase, fix, or force. It is the silent awareness that exists before thought, before feeling, before action.
Many spend their lives lost in the noise of the mind, unaware of this quiet backdrop. But once you begin to notice it, everything changes. It is like suddenly realizing the sky has always been there, even when covered by clouds.
This section explores what it means to discover this silent awareness, how to recognize it in daily life, and how it serves as the foundation for deep presence.
Awareness as the Unmoving Center
Imagine standing in the middle of a river. The water rushes past you, carrying sticks, leaves, and debris. Some things drift by peacefully; others bump against you. The mind is like that river—full of constant movement, thoughts, emotions, and experiences flowing through. But you are not the river. You are the one standing still, watching the flow.
In every moment, there is a space between what happens and how we respond. This space is often overlooked, hidden beneath layers of thoughts, emotions, and automatic reactions.
